The Board has 11 members with diverse backgrounds that are relevant to achieving FP Canada’s purpose. Currently, the Board’s composition includes:

  • four Certified Financial Planner® professionals
  • one Qualified Associate Financial Planner™ professional
  • two public directors
  • two directors-at-large
  • two financial planners (F.Pl) licensed in the province of Québec.

Candidates for the Board are recommended by the Board Development Committee. Board members are not compensated for their work, and serve up to two, three-year terms. The Board appoints a Chair from within its ranks each year.

Christopher has nearly two decades of experience and is committed to promoting financial literacy, access to financial planning and inclusion through all aspects of his work. Christopher is dedicated to the vision of a financial services industry that fulfills the diverse needs of all Canadians.

Christopher was elected to FP Canada Board in June 2021. Over the course of his career, Christopher has served on numerous boards and currently sits on the Research Ethics Board of St. Michael’s Hospital.
