Send an email to studenttransition@fpcanada.ca together with your FP Canada ID, and outline the completed courses you’re looking to transfer. Include your registration receipt or a copy of your transcript. If you don’t have an FP Canada ID, create an FP Canada account. Once registered, you’ll find your FP Canada ID at the top of your personal dashboard. 

Upon receipt of your email, our Certificant & Student Services Team will review your documentation within 10 business days. Then, you‘ll receive an email that identifies the required Technical Education courses remaining on your path to certification, along with information on relevant timelines.  

Once you review the remaining steps to completing your Technical Education and confirm you’d like to transfer to the FP Canada Institute, we’ll update the Education section of your FP Canada account with qualifying course equivalencies and the remaining courses to be completed, so you may continue your path to certification without disruption.
