The Conduct Review Panel’s purpose is to support the fulfilment of the professional-oversight mandate of the FP Canada Standards Council™ by reviewing staff reports and determining the appropriate disposition of complaints, in the public interest. The Conduct Review Panel issues Guidance to the Profession as required.

These notices to the profession are opportunities for the Conduct Review Panel to inform financial planners certified by FP Canada about types of conduct that are of concern, and give them direction with the goal of informing and guiding future conduct.

Debbie has worked in the financial services industry for over 30 years, spending the majority of her career with Investors Group. She retired from her position as Vice-President, Advanced Financial Planning at Investors Group in 2018.

Debbie obtained CFP certification in 1999 and has held numerous volunteer positions with FPSC over the years. She served on the FPSC Board of Directors from 2004 to 2013, including as Chair from 2009 to 2011. Debbie received the FP Canada Fellow™ distinction in 2011 as recognition for her extensive involvement with FPSC and her commitment to furthering the financial planning profession.
