The purpose of the Finance and Audit Committee is to assist the Board of Directors in its oversight responsibilities as they relate to:

  • financial reporting and related compliance
  • external auditor selection, independence performance
  • financial risk management
  • monitoring and reviewing investment policies, performance and management

Julie is Vice President, Personal Banking, Eastern Québec, one of the largest banks in Canada. She’s responsible with driving the region’s growth and increasing market share through efficient strategies, ensuring client satisfaction in a digital landscape, focusing on clients engagements, and upholding the Bank’s presence in the community.  Before her last appointment she had been Leader -Transformation Strategies and distribution models for the retail side.  

In addition to being a member of the Board Development Committee at FP Canada™, Julie has acted as chair of the Institut québécois de planification financière (IQPF). She has been involved in numerous charitable activities over the years, including the ;  Maison Source bleue, the Défi des générations of the Fondation de l’Hôpital Charles-LeMoyne and the Fondation de l’Hôpital Hôtel-Dieu de Lévis. 

Julie is invested in many projects and currently serves as a private mentor for business owners. She has a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières, and HEC and the Financial Planner designation from the Institut québécois de planification financière
