Following referral of a complaint to a discipline hearing by the Conduct Review Panel, members of the Hearing Panel Roster serve as adjudicators on the FP Canada Standards Council™ Hearing and Appeal Panels in support of the Standards Council’s professional-oversight function.

Joanne is a senior member of Nychuk & Company, where she has a litigation, family law, and estate practice.  In addition, she is experienced in administrative law, being the chair of the City of Regina Board of Revision, and co-chair of the Saskatchewan Social Services Appeal Board.  She has been involved as counsel in a coroner’s inquest, and a private inquiry in the Province of Saskatchewan.  Joanne has appeared at all levels of court in Saskatchewan, and at the Supreme Court of Canada.   

Joanne is a frequent speaker on estate planning matters, administrative law, family law, and ethics.  Joanne is a member of the Saskatchewan Trial Lawyer’s Association Board of Governors.   

Joanne received her LL.B. from the University of Saskatchewan (with Distinction) in 1993 and was called to the Bar in 1994.  Joanne also has a B.A. in English and Sociology from the University of Toronto.  She was designated Queen’s Counsel in 2017.
