The QAFP Exam Panel is comprised of experts in all areas of financial planning, such as retirement planning, risk management and taxation.

The exam panel’s purpose is to ensure:

  • the certification exams sufficiently and appropriately assess the competence of candidates for certification by demonstrating the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities
  • individuals who are qualified receive a passing score and individuals who are not qualified receive a failing score

MaryAnn has over 25 years of experience in financial services.  In her role as division manager, she and her team deliver comprehensive wholistic financial planning services to multi-generational family groups. MaryAnn is a strong proponent of financial literacy, which she advocates and promotes regularly. In addition to serving on this committee, MaryAnn volunteers her time to several not for profit community groups.

MaryAnn is a regular contributor to the weekly “Money Matters” column in the Winnipeg Free Press, as well as being called upon professionally to comment in person and in writing on financial matters. She was recently featured on radio station CJNU, speaking about Estate Planning, during financial planning week. She can also be heard in local venues, such as the Good Neighbours Active Living Centre, speaking virtually and publicly at financial seminars
