The Standards Panel is responsible for, and has delegated responsibility from the Board over:

  • The Standards of Professional Responsibility, including associated guidance
  • The FP Canada Standards Council™ Competency Profiles
  • The FP Canada Standards Council Projection Assumption Guidelines Committee which is responsible for maintaining and updating the Projection Assumption Guidelines

Nathalie is an actuary by training and has been a Financial Planner since 1996. She is the Founding President of Bachand Lafleur, groupe conseil inc. For more than 20 years, Nathalie has worked closely with the IQPF, having contributed to practice development, particularly for retirement financial planning, an area in which she has been a mentor. Nathalie sat on the Professional Development committee of the IQPF from 1997 to 2011 and was Committee Chair for the 2010-2011 year. She also served on the Board of Directors of the IQPF from 2010 to 2018, holding the titles of Vice-Chair, from 2012 to 2014, and Chair, from 2014 to 2016.
