Following referral of a complaint to a discipline hearing by the Conduct Review Panel, members of the Hearing Panel Roster serve as adjudicators on the FP Canada Standards Council™ Hearing and Appeal Panels in support of the Standards Council’s professional-oversight function.

A lawyer by profession, Jonah Rabinovitch currently works as a Financial Planning Specialist with RBC Wealth Management. He has been working in the financial services industry now for eight years. His main role with RBC Wealth Management is to work closely with advisors and their clients to develop comprehensive plans touching on all areas of their financial lives. Prior to joining the financial services industry, Jonah worked as a lawyer practicing in the areas of corporate and commercial law and estate planning for four years.

Jonah has been involved in volunteer work within both his local community and within his professional community. He is currently active on the Boards of several charitable organizations. He has also volunteered with the Financial Planning Standards Council on several occasions.

Born and raised in Ottawa, Jonah earned degrees at both the University of Ottawa and Dalhousie University in Halifax prior to obtaining his Certified Financial Planner designation. He and his wife currently live in Ottawa with their two sons, Alexander and Zachary.
